Here at Spring, we are a church with a mission. Jesus commissioned all of us as his followers be his witnesses throughout the world. This means, as one who has been transformed and forgiven by God’s Grace, we should share Jesus with others. In Acts 1:8, Jesus referenced this by saying. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The locations he mentioned started at home and expanded outward to the whole earth.
Traditionally the Lottie Moon offering is taken up by Southern Baptist Churches at Christmas time and the Annie Armstrong offering is taken up at Easter. Here at Spring Baptist Church, we take up one offering during October - December that funds all of our mission endeavors throughout the year.
